Master's Programmes
There are over 200 Master’s degree programmes available in English. The majority of them are provided by universities, but polytechnics (universities of applied science, UAS) also arrange Master-level degree education in English.
University Master's degrees
An academic university Master’s degree is worth 120 ECTS credits and takes 2 years of full-time studying.
The degree consists of a major subject, minor subjects, general studies, language and communication studies, and a Master’s thesis. You need to have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the same or related field of education, and you will also need to prove your English language ability.
Polytechnic/UAS Master's degrees
Polytechnic/UAS Master´s degrees are professionally oriented, they take 1-1.5 years to accomplish, and are worth 60 – 90 ECTS credits. To be eligible to apply for these programmes, you need to hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, followed by at least 3 years of work experience.
Studying includes advanced specialist studies, free-choice studies, and a Master´s thesis.

You can either search for a suitable programme by using the study programmes database (choose level 'Master' in the 'by level' menu) - or you can of course also consult the home pages of the individual institutions to find out what they offer for international students.
Remember that you need to contact with the Admissions Office of the university/UAS offering the programme if you need more detailed information on the entry requirements, course contents etc.
