Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

The European Union offers many opportunities to doctoral candidates and researchers through the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions - particularly within the Innovative Training Networks (ITN) and COFUND action.

The ITN networks consist of:

  • European Training Networks (ETN)
  • European Industrial Doctorates (EID)
  • European Joint Doctorates (EJD)

Universities can recruit international doctoral candidates also via COFUND projects. As ITN networks COFUND projects offer doctoral fellowships for 3-4 years. Individuals can apply for the specific positions created by these networks. Positions both in ITN and COFUND are advertised via international recruitment sites, and are often advertised also on the EURAXESS Researchers in Motion portal.
