Study in Finland ambassadors are responsible for managing our SiF Ambassadors Instagram account and also producing video content for our YouTube channel. The ambassadors will be responsible for prompt and scheduled posting of engaging content regarding student life in Finland in form of posts, reels, stories and videos - and replying DMs from prospective students. You will also occasionally participate in webinars with us.
Our ambassadors' working language is English, so everything you submit must be in the English language.

What you need to submit in your application
1️⃣ Your personal background and motivation
🟢 Your CV: This document should include your educational background, your digital and other professional skills, any previous work experiences, and relevant links to any social media accounts you maintain or create content for (such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok etc.). Remember to make your accounts public if you have it on private so we can review them. Please convert your CV in PDF and name it as CV.Firstname_Lastname (maximum file size 50 MB).
👉 How you will share your cv: you will upload your cv in pdf format to the application form.
🟢 A short introduction video: In your video, tell us why you would like to be a SiF Ambassador and why are you a good fit for this programme. The length of the video should not exceed 2 minutes.
👉 How you will share your introduction video: please upload your video on your YouTube channel (create one if you do not already have one) as an unlisted video, and provide us with the link to the video in the application form.
2️⃣ Your social media content samples
In addition to the cv and introduction video, you need to provide some examples of your social media content creation skills. These content samples should be related to portraying studying and living in Finland as an international student.
💡Make sure you share an example you have prepared yourself - you should not use such videos where you are merely a performer (for example, promotional videos of your university).
Your content should aim at attracting prospective students to get interested in Finland as a study destination, so think about what kind of content would be interesting, positive and enticing for prospective students from all around the world.
The language must be English. Pay attention to clarity and visual attractiveness!
🟢 Instagram content samples: we would like to see two different samples of the kind of content you would create for our SiF Ambassador IG account if you were an ambassador.
- Sample content 1: IG feed post or reel with an inspiring/interesting caption (feed post must be a carousel with several frames)
- Sample content 2: IG story (must include several panels)
For this part, we recommend you create a separate “sample” Instagram account wherein you can upload the content (however please do not name the account "Study in Finland" or "Study in Finland Ambassadors"). Remember to save your IG story content as a "highlight" so it won't disappear! You can also use your existing personal IG account.
Make sure that you make the IG account public so we can access it.
👉 How you will share the IG content for us to review: in the application form, you'll simply share the link to the Instagram account that you have used to post your content samples (preferably direct links to sample content)
Application deadline
Please submit your application with all the required contents 30 January 2026 at the latest. We recommend you not to leave it until the last day!
Results and interviews
We will be selecting altogether 5 ambassadors. In the selection process, we'll be taking into acount several factors - such as content samples, cv's and introduction videos, study fields/levels and universities/UAS's, and diversity. In the final stage, we will also invite the best candidates for interviews.
Candidates will be notified of the selection results latest by 9 February. Selected applicants will be invited for an interview between 11-18 February. The interviews will be held online on Teams.
New SiF ambassadors will have a mandatory training day on 27 February and start their work in the beginning of March 2026.
