Apply between 7–21 January 2026
⭐ Many universities in Finland use the 7–21 January joint application at Studyinfo.fi for September 2026 study start admissions.
In the joint application, you can apply to up to six (6) programmes with one application form. You can be offered several study places and choose which place you wish to confirm.

Important information about scholarships in Finland
⚠️ There are many websites and social media channels advertising "Fully funded Finland government scholarships" - these ads are misleading and contain false information! The truth is, there are no governmental scholarships available from Finland. Instead, individual universities in Finland may offer some scholarships or tuition fee waivers. Check out the scholarship facts here - and always check all admission and scholarship -related details on official sources: Studyinfo.fi and the universities' own websites.
Application fee
❗ Applicants from outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland are required to pay an application fee in order to apply to higher education studies.

Separate applications can already be available
💡 Some degree programmes are not included in the joint application, and therefore have a different application period. Degree programmes using "separate applications" (for example, rolling admissions) can have their admissions open in late 2025, or during/after the January joint application period.
