Joint application for studies starting in January 2027
The joint application to Finnish higher education for January 2027 study start is open between 31st August and 10th September 2026 at Studyinfo.fi.
A limited number of programmes in English is offered on this autumn joint application round.
You can apply to up to six different degree programmes from different fields and higher education institutes included in the joint application.
How to apply

- Then, find your desired degree programme at the national Studyinfo.fi database: English-taught study programmes available on this joint application round.

- If necessary, you can contact the university/UAS of your choice for detailed application information.
Scholarships offered by the universities
Many universities and UAS's (universities of applied sciences) in Finland have scholarship options on offer for gifted non-EU students. Check with the university/UAS about the scholarship details.

Next joint application round in January 2027
The joint application period to the English-taught Bachelor's and Master studies starting in August/September 2027 will be arranged 7 – 21 January 2027 at Studyinfo.fi.
Separate applications
Some degree programmes have their admissions outside the joint application system. For example, some separate applications to English-taught degree courses starting in September 2027 can be available already from late 2026 onwards.
In the Studyinfo.fi database search, you can use the "Application period" filter to find out about ongoing and soon-to-open application periods. You can also check the exact application timetable with the university you plan to apply to.
